This tour is designed for you to discover the Cádiz jewels: it’s main monuments and locations in the province, learning about the secrets of the cities of Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and, of course, Cádiz. 3 days could be a short period of time, but our activities are designed to explore and experience to the fullest all these cities have to offer, with activites such as paired menus with local dishes, traditional fishing workshops in salt marshes, tastings of local Sherry wines, cultural visits and much more. In addition, you’ll stay in a boutique hotel with all kinds of details and exceptional attention, as well as private transportation to the locations you’ll visit. You’ll experience, alongside other activities, a full morning in the salt marsh, enjoying a private visit with our host and a local fisherman and learning about the traditional extraction of salt and techniques used for fishing in the area, as well as a tasting of the products that come from the salt marsh and their properties.
Also, you can’t visit Cádiz without learning about the wine industry that elevated so much the city of Jerez and how winemakers create these products, having, of course, a special testing of authentic Sherry wines. You’ll visit the main monuments of cities such as Cádiz and Jerez, finding out about the history and immersing yourself in the local ambient.
Everyday you’ll have a gastronomical experience such as having lunch or dinner in local restaurant and tasting the different flavours Cádiz gastronomy has to offer, with explanations about our dishes by our host.
Welcome to El Puerto de Santa María! Our host will meet you at the train station and you’ll have some time to leave your luggage in a beautiful boutique hotel, were you’ll stay for 2 nights.
Our first visit is to one of our local salt marshes. Here, you’ll find out about the wonders this natural area offers and how the locals exploited these waters for decades, bringing wealth and food to the city. The salt extracted from these marshes has an exceptional quality and it’s considered a gourmet ingredient. With this experience, you’ll enjoy a demonstration of local fishing in the marshes arranged just for you, as well as a tasting of different fresh products from the same salt marsh.
After lunch, you’ll discover the secrets of the city, considered one of the main ports for the ancient spanish empire because of the merchants that lived there seeking the wealth the New World products brought. Our local expert will tell you everything about the city and it’s monuments, as well as experiencing the local ambient.
Then, you’ll finish your day in a local tapas restaurant tasting traditional dishes.

Jerez de la Frontera, the biggest city in Cadiz, was home for dynasties of arab rulers in times of Al Andalus, and many of their original structures and buildings still exist for you to enjoy, as well as the internationally known winery industry, with unique wines and vineyards.
After your breakfast, you’ll visit a local vineyard, where you’ll learn about the process of wine making and how the unique Sherry wines are created along a local winemaker and our host. After discovering the process, you’ll have a tasting of different kinds of local Sherry wines from the vineyard, as well as a menu with local dishes, making this an intimate and exclusive experience in a genuine andalusian vineyard.
After lunch, you’ll find out about Jerez de la Frontera and the legacy differents civilisation left in the city. Narrow streets, castles, mansions and points of interest around the city center will be explained to you by a local official expert, having at the end some free time to explore the city on your own.
Then, you’ll come back to El Puerto to have dinner in a local restaurant.

In our last day, you’ll visit Cadiz, the capital of the province and one of the oldests cities in Europe. Founded by the fenicians, many ancient civilisations have lived in Cadiz: fenicians, greeks, romans, arabs, christians… and all of them knew the huge value of the city and how important it was it’s location. In the morning you’ll travel to Cadiz to walk around it’s streets in a guided visit: you’ll find out about why the city has 2 cathedrals, the Carnival culture of Cadiz, the different fortifications in the city and, of course, the importancy Cadiz had for the democracy in Spain.
After our lunch in a local restaurant in Cadiz, you’ll go back to El Puerto to enjoy a private boat trip sailing the Cadiz Bay waters, enjoying the landscape and the sea breeze that will make you fall in love with our land, having a truly unforgettable evening and an exclusive experience in our legendary waters.
To culminate your 3 days experience, you’ll have a final special dinner in a local restaurant in El Puerto de Santa María, we hope you enjoyed your visit!
